Monterey Bay Aquarium

We went to Monterey Bay one weekend and while I do normally love long drives, I was just so tired on our way there. Monterey Bay is three hours away and we left really early. I'm really bad at waking up early. I also had the wrong lens on my camera, and these are the only good pictures that I got. Considering that this was taken from a glass aquarium, I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

These giant jellyfishes are among the attractions at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I would definitely go back there.

Fort Bragg+Mendocino+Point Arena

I had been thinking about starting a new photography blog but I never really had the chance to sit down and really work on it. Let's see how long this lasts. Here are some of my photos from my Thanksgiving trip to North Pacific Coast Area. It was a three and a half hours drive from where I live.

This is the bridge by the Beachcomber Hotel where we stayed.

Point Cabrillo lighthouse in Mendocino. It was gloomy, I was even lucky that I managed to get a picture before it actually rained.

Point Arena lighthouse. Now I think this one is a nicer gloomy shot, because of the clarity the waves brought to the picture.

And I even got lucky with a rainbow. It was still raining when I took this shot. I would have wanted it to be crisper.
